Your other option is the available 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged system that pumps out 180 horsepower7 and 174 lb.-ft. of torque8. Even if you were to go with the second choice, you’ll still be achieving a 31/38/34 MPG city/hwy/combined9 fuel efficiency rating. On top of that, the Civic Sedan has Idle-Stop, which will turn your engine off as you wait for the light to turn green on Route 20 to save you more gas. Plus, you can use available Remote Engine Start to warm up and cool down your cabin prior to stepping out of the house.

Safety

Your safety is of the utmost importance, which is why the engineers at Honda made it a top priority to build the Civic Sedan with some preventative advancements. The standard Traffic Sign Recognition System10 projects each warning sign or speed limit onto your windshield as you’re coming up to it. You’ll have standard Brake Assist to alert you if the vehicle right ahead of you stops suddenly and can even add more pressure to the brakes in order to help prevent any collisions. If you ever start drifting too far from your intended course, standard Road Departure Mitigation System11 provides an audible notification. In addition, the standard Auto High-Beam Headlights make sure each road is illuminated at night. If a vehicle is sensed from the opposite direction, the intensity of the feature will lower.
